The Hulu series finds The Beatles legend Paul McCartney in a warm conversation with music producer Rick Rubin in the new trailer for McCartney 3,2,1. The new in-depth documentary series is going to be out next week.
The upcoming Hulu documentary six-episode series will be about the legendary musician break down of Paul’s career in-depth with the producer Rick Robin.
An official synopsis for the series explains, “In this six-episode series that explores music and creativity in a unique and revelatory manner, the documentary gives a front-row seat to Paul and Rick in an intimate conversation about the songwriting, influences, and personal relationships that informed the iconic songs that have served as the soundtracks of our lives”.
The pair are seen discussing Beatle’s songs ‘Come Together, ‘All My Loving’, ‘With a Little Help From My Friends’ and ‘In My Life’ in the trailer, which you can see below.
From a description by Hulu, the series is all about McCartney’s career, beginning with his roots with The Beatles. It also includes his musical influences from Bach to Fela Kuti. It will also have the famous trip to India and the evolution of The Beatles’ sound and the introduction with the “fifth Beatle” George Martin.
“McCartney 3,2,1” is directed by Emmy-winning filmmaker Zachary Heinzerling. Hulu will release all six episodes of “McCartney 3, 2, 1” on July 16. Go over the watch the trailer below:
