After Cox’s-bazar sea, this is one of the most beautiful sea beaches in Chittagong Bangladesh. Patenga Beach lies approximately twenty kilometers outside the city of Chittagong and is located near to fascinating landmarks including the Shah Amanat International Airport and the BNS Isha Khan Naval Base.
Patenga can be counted as the perfect tourist destination in Chittagong which is filled with dense green forests, endless rolling hills, a moderate climate and breathtaking beaches. The beach is covered with rocks. It is located at the Karnaphuli River mouth and stretches to the Bay of Bengal. Though there are many kinds of snacks avaialble at the beach but fried spicy mud crab served with falafel and vegetables are the best. In the evening the beach has vibrant atmosphere, there is also to see beautiful sunsets and sunrises spreading across the horizon.
If anyone wants to vistit Patenga from Dhaka then there are availble bus from Dhaka to Chittagong. Patenga is a sea beach located 14 kilometers to south of Chittagong, Bangladesh. It will take about an hour from the center of Chittagong city by auto rickshaw, Bus or Tempu to reach Patenga Beach.
