It has recently surfaced that Nicki Minaj and Future have made the decision to cancel the entire North American leg of their joint tour.
It seems that R&B queen Nicki will instead be heading out and doing her own thing on a solo tour, despite plans for the pair to embark on the aptly named NickiHndrxx tour next month.
The reason for the cancellation? The plan to work together was shunned after Nicki “decided to reevaluate elements of production” – it became apparent that the singer wanted to spend her time preparing for her own show and completing more rehearsals before taking to the road.
Now Nicki will be working it on the US tour in May next year, however due to rescheduling, and conflicts with dates, Future will not be able to take part (as previously planned).
Refunds for the new dates will be available at point of purchase, according to a statement from Live Nation, and details regarding the new Nicki Minaj tour will be released in the near future.
“Nicki Minaj will be announcing new North American dates to kick off in May 2019. Refunds for the previously scheduled North American dates will be available at point of purchase, with new Nicki Minaj on-sale details announced soon,” Live Nation stated.
Never mind guys, you will just have to wait a little longer to see good old Minaj in action!
