The rapper Nicki Minaj is not set for her new documentary series which will be premiered on HBO Max. Puza Snigdha reports.
The rapper is being ready to share her life story through a six-part half-hour docuseries via WarnerMedia streaming platform.
Minaj took social media on Friday, on the day of the 10th anniversary of her debut album “Pink Friday,” to confirm the news. She revealed that she is going to be in “raw unfiltered” look and will tell the story of her personal and professional work.
“It’s going to give you guys a raw, unfiltered look at my personal life and my professional journey. And I can’t wait to share it with you.”
Minaj teased her fans about the announcement of the document series while she was celebrating the anniversary of one of the biggest hit albums. Both her album anniversary celebration and the docuseries news are big. So she asked her fans on Twitter,
“Everyone play ‘moment 4 life’ starting in 5 4 3 2 1 GO!!!! Then play ‘here I am’ Then go to ‘did it on em’ After that I’ll make my announcement. Have superbass playing while u read it,”
The series is going to be directed by Michael John Warren. The series will be produced by Bron Life, Bron Studios’ non-scripted arm, and exec produced by Minaj, Warren, Aaron L. Gilbert, Brenda Gilbert and Cassandra Butcher, Irving Azoff and Tommy Bruce, in association with Creative Wealth Media.
Before this, Minaj participated in two MTV documentaries special titled Nicki Minaj: My Time Now in 2010 and another one Nick Minaj: My Time AGAIN in 2015. Both series were helmed by Warren.
The release date for the new series has not yet been announced.
