Tributes to The Amazing Snakeheads’ Dale Barclay

The Amazing Snakeheads’ Dale Barclay is being honoured by getting tributes when a member of his management has confirmed the tragic news of his death.
The Amazing Snakeheads’ Dale Barclay died from brain cancer in the age of 32 after undergoing the operation. The rock singer battled with a rare type of brain cancer last December and had raised money for a course of private specialist treatment.
Friends, fans and collaborators have decided to pay tribute to social media to honour Barclay.
Describing him as the “essence of rock & roll”, Franz Ferdinand star Alex Kapranos was one of the first to pay tribute to Dale.
To share their support,Bands, Franz Ferdinand and Honeyblood wrote on Twitter.Sam Fender wrote: “RIP Dale Barclay, an earth shattering frontman” to pay him tribute.
Stephen Archibald, the manager of Mr Barclay’s band said: “Everything is a bit raw just now…we all just need time to process what’s happened.”
Barclay formed the Amazing Snakeheads in Glasgow with William Coombe and Jordon Hutchinson in 2010.Following the Amazing Snakeheads, Barclay formed a new band called “And Yet It Moves” which released an album titled Free Pass to the Future, in 2017.
Scottish tribute act Sweaty Palms wrote: “Let it be known, Dale Barclay is not only the essence of what a true artist is, one of a kind front man and human being.
The Brudenell Social Club in Leeds described him as a “captivating” performer.
