Saroj Khan Leaves Behind Her Notable Work Of Over 4 Decades

Saroj Khan died of Cardiac arrest on Thursday morning at the age of 71. The entire industry is mourning the death of yet another Star, reports Anika Khan.

She was the most renowned choreographer of Bollywood and was well-regarded for her contribution in music and dance won her three National Awards.

Her illustrious career stretched for over four decades, and in that time she had choreographed some of the most iconic songs of Bollywood from the early 1980s.

She worked on more than 2000 songs and was addressed as ‘Masterji’. Some of her best works were with the prominent dancing stars of the 80s and 90s, Sridevi and Madhuri Dixit.

  1. ‘Hawa Hawai’ (Saroj khan rose to prominence through her work in the film ‘Mr. India’)

4) ‘Dola re Dola’ in the movie ‘Devdas’

5)’ Tabaah Ho Gaye’ from the Movie ‘Kalaank’ was Khan’s last choreography work in Bollywood.

Bollywood have had the toughest months with the death of Irrfan Khan, Rishi Kapoor and Sushant Singh Rajput. Saroj Khan’s death has been a huge loss and fans have been devastated. Generations of people have grown up practicing her steps in front of mirror and television steps.
