What> This annual event highlights the best in world cinema, featuring top films from celebrated filmmakers as well as fresh new talent from all over the world. In addition to the “Main Slate” of usually around 25 feature films, official selections, the festival includes documentary, shorts, retrospective, filmmaker conversations and panels and much more.
The main purpose of this non-competitive festival is to demonstrate the development of contemporary trends and international film art in content, style, and form. This year is its 57th edition and its Main Slate will showcase films from 17 different countries.
