NASA discovers new planet with three stars

By Shayan Shakir

Nasa has found an overheated planet called LTT 1445 A b, which is approximately 1.4 times as big as Earth.

According to NASA the planet’s sky is brightened by three stars, and it is one of the 12 recent exoplanet discoveries made by NASA.

LTT 1445 A b is most likely a rocky planet which takes about five days to travel around its star once – a year on this world. The planets close proximity to its star is what causes the temperatures on its surface to reach about 320 degrees Fahrenheit.

The planet lies about 22 lightyears from Earth.
