Naomi Osaka Wins Australian Open Final 2019

Australian women single champion 2019 winner Japan’s Naomi Osaka. She beat Czech Petra Kvitova in a thrilling Australian Open final to win back-to-back Grand Slams and become not only the winner but new world number one. Osaka was all smiles during the trophy giving with speeches.
She said, “Erm, hello. Sorry, public speaking isn’t my strong point so I hope I can get through this,” “Huge congrats to Petra. I’ve always wanted to play you. You’ve been through so much, honestly, I wouldn’t have wanted this to be our first match.” Stating this in her speech the winner Naomi Osaka shows her gratitude towards the Czech Petra Kvitova. She also thanked her team members and the organizing body. “I read notes before this but I still forgot what I was meant to say. Thank you, everyone, I am really honoured to have played in this final.”She added.
It’s only in last September when Osaka and Serena Williams controversial US Open final happened. In which Serena Williams lost her cool. On Saturday, the tears flowed at the end of high quality, seesaw final, in which she lost her way and then found it again, her character coming through when she needed it most.
