Music Monday: Top New Releases This Week!

The world may still be in lockdown, but that hasn’t stopped our favourite artists from releasing new music! Here, Tara breaks down the top five new tracks that we’re listening to this week.

Sia – Saved My Life

This latest track comes from Sia after originally performing the song on a comedy benefit live-stream on 1 May. In a tweet posted to her official Twitter account, her representatives confirmed that the proceeds from the track will go to the Americares and CORE Response charities.

Raleigh Ritchie – Aristocrats

This latest track from UK artist Raleigh Ritchie is set to feature on his forthcoming sophomore record ‘Andy’, which is currently scheduled for a June 26 release.

Riz La Vie – She Said

In the description for his new music video, Riz La Vie writes: “During this time when there is not much going on, but still a bit too much going on, I want to remind you of the power of your word.” He goes on to say: ” I’m looking forward to the day I can sit & share a meal with the people I love again soon. Until then, I’ll be here speaking the best I can.”

Arlo Parks – Black Dog

In Arlo Parks latest track, she hopes to provide support for fans who are facing mental health issues. In an interview about the track she said: ““It’s supposed to make people who are struggling feel less isolated and start a conversation surrounding the prevalence of mental health issues in today’s world.”

Lianne La Havas – Paper Thin

This new track from Lianne La Havas has been taken from her third album, which is set to be released later this year. Commenting on her new album, she said: “While I didn’t expect this to be the direction of my new music, it’s my reality and it’s driven by emotion. I dare say that this is the closest I’ve gotten to a pure expression so far.”
