PORTLAND drop glorious echoing indie-pop gem ‘Lay Me Down’ ahead of 6th June London show.

Listen

Though Lay Me Down does sound like a great rock track it’s not afraid to bare its soul and wear its heart on its sleeve. The melody itself has uplifting vibes the lyrics have that grittiness to them which makes a perfect contrast yet when all put together creates this perfect fusion. A superb track.

Emily Saunders to release vibrant sunshine-soaked new single ‘Blue Skies Forever’ on 2nd May.

Listen

An absolutely incredible tune from beginning to end and has that tone which boarders a bit darker which actually gives it that bit more depth. I could happily listen to this on repeat and probably find something new to it.

2025 Live Dates:

7th June- Twickenham Exchange Theatre, London.

13th June- Y-Theatre, Leicester.

Westside Cowboy – ‘Shells’

Watch

A great video from start to finish. Though there is some enjoyment from watching videos where it looks like it could’ve come from a film more often than not I really like the video diary style videos. I like how the song is takes a soft note but then becomes more energised before you become too comfortable with it

Nature TV – ‘Travelling Girl’

Download/Stream

Now I’ve not known Nature TV for that long but am already a fan of their type of music. Travelling Girl has a got those fantastic guitar riffs which go into a seamless rhythm which when put with the drums and a voice that’s lower key and a bit gravelly sums up q beautiful tune

Shadows of a Silhouette deliver a rush of energy with razor-edged new garage-rock single, ‘No Matter Where I Go’

Listen

A stunning track. Just a few seconds into it and it has that feel to it where it could have come from a movie soundtrack, in face, I think it should be used as one. How the track is put together does impress me and it’s one I’d happily listen to a few times over.
