ERIN K releases gorgeous new video for – ‘Keep Her’
Whatever Erin’s set out to do she clearly done it, and it’s definitely an expression of creativity and imagination. American born London based singer songwriter musician has released her latest single, Keep Her, in conjunction with current Europe tour. The song is an interesting one as it’s about self-expression and relationships which are plagued by abuse control.
It’s not that often that you get artists making songs about relationships that are plagued by abusive controlling behaviour. You have to actually listen to the lyrics to understand the subtext
The lyrics make references to breaking someone intentionally in the psychological sense but then declaring love which is really mental control
The video is an intriguing one as it bears little reference to the song yet still catches your attention

Baytrees return with good vibes dream pop anthem – ‘Sunshine’!
Well, the Brixton four-piece have come up with a single which can officially be put onto your Summer Playlist, yes, it’s that good. Sunshine is about embracing the feeling of the season and everything that goes with it, reclining under the trees, enjoying yourself and soaking up the good weather and not having to worry about things. Musically, this is in a similar music vein to Friendly Fires in that it’s about embracing the positivity of what’s surrounding you.
The two singers of the group, Mensah Hart and Marcus Harris, have the profound ability to convey the song almost like it’s a form of storytelling, where even though it’s their story but you get it as though it’s also your own

The song hits all the right notes in that it’s of the feelgood factor, has that nearly energetic undertone but also makes a decent dance track as it can an indie anthem. Marcus and Mensah have such smooth and stylish vocal quality that they can just slip in and out of the track with ease
Sohodolls re-write classic 00’s single – “Bang Bang Bang Bang” in stand against gun violence!
Now if there’s one thing that artists are known for its writing songs about issues that matter to them. For Bang Bang Bang Bang, it is basically all about gun violence including the social situations surrounding it.
Main songwriter Maya van Doll made some changes to the lyrics, particularly where there is a direct reference to guns themselves. Whilst you may be scratching your head thinking why gun violence is something is necessary to talk about Sohodolls aren’t the first to do so. Boomtown Rats ‘Don’t Like Mondays’ in 1979 and Foster the People ‘Pumped up Kicks’ in 2011.

From first glance after hearing the lyrics you’d be forgiven if you thought that Maya was going against her thoughts about gun control but that’s not actually the case. It’s only when you listen further, and more, you begin realize that she’s actually done something on the side of outside the box and written from the side of a disturbed mentality perspective. In other words, it’s just as easily be about trying to understand why someone’s got a gun at all and their mental state
The Vaccines’ Freddie Cowan releases – ‘Begin Again’ as ‘Freddie & The Scenarios’!
Once part of the indie scene and now taking steps of their own, and into a somewhat different but fascinating direction Freddie’s Begin Again marks the arrival of something new. His latest single references the concept of rebirth, own development and changing. Other elements that are touched on are pushing the boundaries to overcome obstacles and self-doubt. After two minutes or more the words stop then it continues till finish on an instrumental. At this point Freddie nears his indie roots.
As strange as the song maybe, it does show something of a turning point in Freddie’s music in that he’s finding his own journey

The video uses graphics that aren’t to dissimilar ones used by Midnight Juggernauts and Disclosure but nonetheless are something of imaginative
