MTV VMA 2022 Nominations: Best 20 categories  

The 2022 MTV Video Music Awards will take place on Sunday, August 28 at Newark, New Jersey’s Prudential Center. The 2022 nominees have now been announced. Kendrick Lamar, Lil Nas X, and Jack Harlow are tied for the most nominations with seven each. Doja Cat and Harry Styles follow with six nominations, while Billie Eilish, Drake, Dua Lipa, Taylor Swift, the Weeknd, and Ed Sheeran each have five.

22 gender-neutral Best categories, including the “Best Longform Video” and “Best Metaverse Performance,” will be included in the 2022 VMAs. There are an astounding 26 first-time nominees for this year’s awards presentation, including Baby Keem, GAYLE, Mneskin, Anitta, and Becky G, Dove Cameron, ITZY, Tems, and a host of others.

The 2022 VMAs will be televised live throughout the world on Sunday, August 28 at 8 PM ET from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Fans can vote for their preferred musicians starting today, July 26, and continuing through Friday, August 19 at-
