It’s a dangerous thing mixing world music together in an apparently random way, almost doing it for the kicks. Khraungbin has only gone and found a formula that works though, at least most of the time. Mordechai like previous works keeps you on your toes, and while it might jolt here and there it never gets boring. Far from it actually. If your music taste is quite diverse and you like new sounds then this is very much for you. Technically astounding at times Mordechai is clever but never too clever for its own good.
