Mogwai Announce Live-streamed Performance 2021

Mogwai has announced a live-streamed event following the arrival of their upcoming album ‘As The Love Continues’. The album was recorded at Tramway in their hometown of Glasgow. Puza Snigdha reports.

The show will be broadcast globally at 8 pm GMT, on Saturday 13th February 2021 and that will give the fans a chance to hear the album one week earlier. Antony Crook, the long-term collaborator Antony Crook will direct the program.

The virtual event is a celebration of their tenth studio album, ‘As The Love Continues,’ which is co-produced by Dave Fridmann and features contributions from Atticus Ross and Colin Stetson.

The upcoming album “As The Love Continues“ follows the band’s 2017 album, “Every Country’s Sun”. “As The Love Continues“ is set to release on February 19 via the band’s own Rock Action Records label. It was planned to record in America but the pandemic led the album release in Worcestershire with producer Dave Fridmann.

The album includes total 11 tracks, “ To The Bin My Friend, Tonight We Vacate Earth,” “Here We, Here We, Here We Go Forever”, “Dry Fantasy”, “Ritchie Sacramento”, “Drive The Nail”, “F*ck Off Money”, “Ceiling Granny”, “Midnight Flit”, “Pat Stains”, “Supposedly, We Were Nightmares” & “It’s What I Want To Do, Mum”.
