Miles Kane To Lead UK’s First Public Music Events

Miles Kane is ready to kick off a series of live shows at Camden Market from Saturday! Puza Snigdha reports.

Miles Kane is leading the UK’s first public shows in a series called ‘Camden Unlocked’. The event will take place at Stables Market’s Amphitheatre, which will allow up 150 people while still adhering to social distancing guidelines.

Camden Market will host five live events with Miles Kane, Shaun Escoffery, Stone Foundation, Sons of Pitches, Newton Faulkner, John Power, Mae Muller and the Puppini Sisters. The semi-acoustic events will have eight ticketed events which will feature free open-air weekend performances from 25 July through to 16 August.

The event will also feature DJ sets by Don Letts, Solar Radio and Shiiine On.

To produce the show series, Camden Market appointed XFM founder and NME Radio station manager Sammy Jacob and live agent Neil O’Brien.

“Having watched the economy, and specifically the live industry, being decimated, the idea of sitting around and doing nothing was not an option,” said Jacob. He added: “I was keen to make sure as soon as conditions permitted we were able to return to some form of live music normality.”

Tickets will be available on a first come first served basis.
