Microsoft Announces Xbox Games Showcase Later This Month

Microsoft will provide players with a brief regarding their upcoming Xbox Series X games during its Xbox Games Showcase later this month.

The event will be on 23 July at 5pm BST which will be the first-look at many upcoming first-party titles coming to the Xbox Series X.

Halo Infinite, which was teased earlier this year and Psychonauts 2 is included in the upcoming lineup.

Microsoft also aims to release over 60 playable demos on the same week, allowing players to try experiences that would have been offered at the many postponed games trade shows this year.

Microsoft also recently renewed the Fable trademark which signals that an announcement could be imminent at the upcoming event.

As part of its Xbox Games Studios programme, Microsoft has been working for years with different developers.

Amongst these studios are Ninja Theory, who are currently working on Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, and Obsidian Entertainment, the developer behind The Outer Worlds.

The company is compiled of industry veterans from franchises such as Red Dead Redemption, God Of War and Uncharted.
