Michael Kiwanuka

How Michael Kiwanuka manages to slip under the radar of major radio stations is beyond many.
He already has two certified gold albums to his credit and this latest eponymous record will no doubt sell by the bucket load as well. It deserves to. It has all the hallmarks of a latter day classic with just the odd little slip here and there.
Harking back to the golden days of Otis Redding and Richie Havens it’s a nostalgia trip with a modern twist. Well produced and beautifully arranged Kiwanuka could be a long shot but it might make the number one slot for a week or two.
