Adopting a more dark fantasy approach to the tale we all know so well already. Five years after the first film, Maleficent’s peaceful life is thrown into disarray when a prince comes to marry Princess Aurora, whose mother is planning to use the wedding to divide the humans and fairies, with the Princess and Maleficent on opposite sides of a growing war.
Fans of the original will certainly find something to enjoy here, and with enough time for you to still watch the original to get up to speed now.
