Let’s spend this weekend in Paradise Wildlife Park

Paradise Wildlife Park is voted Hertfordshire’s No.1 Outdoor Attraction by Trip Advisor and set in the beautiful surrounding of Broxbourne Woods in the heart of the Hertfordshire Countryside.

Paradise is home to over 800 exotic wild animals including one of the best big cat collections in the country with pride of white lions, tigers, jaguars & snow leopards as well as also being home to and caring for endangered species such as red pandas, gibbons, lemurs, penguins, small monkeys like our pygmy marmoset who have just had their second baby, camels, zebra, otters, and reptiles, including the largest anaconda in the UK.

Paradise is also Europe’s leading wildlife park for exotic animal experiences, you can do everything from meeting our Meerkats, tickle our tapirs, hand-feed our red pandas to shadowing a keeper, and hand-feeding a big cat. The funds raised from these animal experiences going directly to the conservation & welfare of the animals In our care and In the wild.

We have recently completed a brand-new tiger habitat: ‘Land of the tigers’ with underwater viewing, the first of its kind in the UK. The tigers’ new home is also the first big cat mixed habitat, an assortment of beautiful fish within the pool presents another first for the UK.

It is also part of the European Endangered Species Breeding Programme, with successful jaguar, African penguin, lar gibbon, cotton-top tamarin, silvery marmoset, black lemur, and red ruff lemur births in the past 2 years alone. With recommendations to breed snow leopards, red pandas, gibbons & African penguins in 2021.

The Zoological Society of Hertfordshire (ZSH) is a registered charity (no.1108609). Our knowledgeable and passionate team cares for our own animals and raises funds to support wildlife conservation projects in the UK and around the world.
