Katy Perry & Pokemon Teams up for ‘P25 Music’

The famous pop star Katy Perry is set to collaborate with Pokeman for iconic franchise on P25 Music to celebrate Pokemon’s 25th anniversary. Puza Snigdha reports.

There will be a line-up of stars from Universal Music Group who will join the show and Katy Perry will be the headliner. The show will also feature Pokémon Trading Card Game promotions.

The anniversary is on February 27th, 2021 and it’s been 25 years that Pokémon Red and Blue released in Japan in 1996. The Pokémon Company shared a video titled ’25 Years of Memories’ to tease the celebration. The video confirms the collaboration of the pop. In the video the star seems to be an electric crossover.

The video description says, “We’re kicking off our 25th anniversary celebration by taking a walk down memory lane!”

Katy Perry has achieved five Billboard music awards and five American Music Awards in her career so far. She is self-professed fan of the franchise since childhood.

“I love being a part of anything that is playful and is good storytelling and has really good messages to share with the world,” said Perry.

Perry has become a mother back I September. Now having a child myself, I understand that it’s so important to play. This is a continued extension of who I am.”

The company is also collaborating with brands like Levi’s, McDonald’s, Jazwares, Scholastic, Mattel, Funko, and the Wand Company.
