Kanye West has shared a new song ‘Donda’, which is a tribute to his late mother. Puza Snigdha reports.
The rapper has released the song via Twitter on what would have been her mother’s 71st birthday, in order to show respect on his late mother’s birthday.
West wrote: “In loving memory of my incredible mother on her birthday ? My mom reciting KRS1 lyrics This song is called DONDA”.
Donda West, the singer’s mother passed away in late November 2007 due to cosmetic surgery complications.
The first 90 seconds of the song features his mother reciting KRS-One lyrics from “Sound of da Police” and after that, West takes over.
