Kanye West Apologises after being caught for Texting during Cher Musical

Kanye West has apologised after being spotted using his phone during the Broadway musical’s opening night about Cher.
The rapper had participated the opening performance at New York’s Neil Simon Theatre with his wife Kim Kardashian, although it seems like his attentions were firmly somewhere else.
Only an hour into the show, Jarrod Spector, who plays Sonny Bono, called the rapper out for his behaviour. He tweeted:
“Hey @kanyewest so cool that you’re here at @TheCherShow! If you look up from your cell phone you’ll see we’re doing a show up here”.
“It’s opening night. Kind of a big deal for us. Thanks so much.”
But instead of offering an impassioned defence, Kanye responded within three hours tweeting:
“The dynamics of Cher and Sonny’s relationship made Kim and I grab each other’s hand and sing ‘I got you babe’”.
He added, “Please pardon my lack of etiquette. We have so much appreciation for the energy you guys put into making this master piece.”
