Jessica Wilde is done with dominant masculine society on new single ‘Body’

‘Body’, is the new single from British singer-songwriter Jessica Wilde, and it is very impressive. The song is 3 minutes and 17 seconds long, yet after you listen you get the feeling that the song should have been longer by at least another minute. Adam Humphries reports.

I quite like what Jessica has chosen in regards to the subject matter in this latest single as it still rings true for both a social and societal issue that a great many women have both faced and still faced today. Almost as though it’s a crime for them to say ‘this is me, like it or not. Take it or leave’. Also, like with some songs that speak out about certain subject matter’s there’s going to be a bit of strong language but don’t let that put you off, if anything, it adds just that bit more edge and rawness to the track itself.

If anything, Body contains a positive and strong message for females in regards to encouraging females to learn how to love themselves and their bodies as well as having respect for one’s own self and realizing their own self-worth.

Jessica’s vocals, along with the subject matter of the song are both gritty, raw, honest, and filled with energy. If anything, Jessica Wilde’s an upcoming force to be reckoned with as well as being a strong and powerful voice for the female gender.

The video for this song is really good as well and looks like it’s been shot using a hand-held camera, give it that slightly edgier look.
