Japan stunned Germany: Opening match in Qatar!

Japan defeated Germany in their opening match in Qatar. Japan by defeating Germany won Group E to go to the Round of 16, where they had previously failed three times.

After the national team’s 2-1 victory over Spain early on Friday, Japan broke out in cheers and tears. People packed public viewing locations in the chilly early-morning air, yelling with delight as they stunned yet another major football force at the World Cup.

Before dawn, fans screaming “Nippon” surged into Tokyo’s famous Shibuya crossing, leaping up and down and yelling, “Fight, fight, fight”. In the meantime, the police fought to keep the mob under control.

A third person published a cartoon showing three dragons covered in different flags. While the Spanish dragon regarded Germany, who appeared perplexed, the Japanese dragon was roaring.

Elon Musk congratulates Japan

Elon Musk tweeted “Congratulations, Japan!” after Naomi Osaka, a tennis star, hailed the Japanese team with a manga-style artwork.

Hajime Moriyasu, the head coach of Japan, and Kozo Tashima, the president of the Japan Football Association. They were contacted by Prime Minister Fumio Kishida to congratulate them on the “historic” victory. Kishida also conveyed his nation’s joy even at Japan’s typically restrained political heights.
