Hush

Cast: Kate Siegel, John Gallagher Jr, Michael Trucco, Samantha Sloyan and Emilia Graves

Hush does a great job of putting you in the shoes of protagonist and main character Maddie, a deaf writer who lives in an isolated cabin to help with her writing. She soon finds herself fighting for her life when a masked assailant arrives and quickly realises her situation. A game of cat and mouse soon begins, and clever editing choices and a lack of sound and dialogue throughout really help you visualise Maddie’s perception, and with current quarantines you might find yourself really familiarising yourself with the situation at hand, minus the crossbow wielding psychopath though one would hope.
