The old adage of not trying to fix what isn’t broke has been soundly ignored on this reworked medley of greatest hits. Yes the songs are hugely popular and yes this record will sell to fans and the curious by the bucket load. The problem is that most of the new rendering is inferior to the original production, even with modern technology being so good. Hot Shot 2020 is a bit like England taking penalties, you always hope but end up feeling disappointed.
