The demand for UKHarvest services has seen incredible growth: the pandemic Covid-19 has seen a huge increase in people in need of food. We are currently rescuing up to 20 tonnes of good food a day, (83% fresh food which otherwise would have gone to landfill), and delivering 100,000 meals each week to those who are food insecure. We’re working overtime to respond rapidly to the changing situation, whilst continuing to deliver food to our 150+ charity partners. We have over 10,000 families who urgently need our help.
