Bangladeshi musician Habib Wahid released his new duet song titled Bristy Jodi Na Thame Aj on Friday. Dipto Paul Reports.
Nazmun Munira Nancy also joined Habib as his co-vocal partner which results in thousands of views of the song on youtube.
The song was created in a very distinctive way where lyrics of the song were hunted using social media platforms.
Co-vocal Nancy Said, “I think it was a very unique idea. The usual process that we always observe is that a song is written by one or two people, but I have never seen a song that has been written by 6 people and that too from a social media platform like Facebook”.
After a Facebook post from Habib where he wrote the line ‘Bristy Jodi Na Thame Aj’ and he asked his followers to write anything they want after that line, thousands of followers started sending words under his post.
Habib picked 6 participants writeup are Ebriad Hasan, Catherine Alo Mardi, Sufian Khan, Sahadat Hossain, Mukul Roy, and Jahid Hasan Rakib.
The lyrics of the song have been given by those six people and Habib composed the whole song.
“I have never imagined that I would get such good lines from my audience, for the overall lyrics. I would have selected everyone’s submitted songlines If I could fit them all, but I had to take the writings of a few. The song is going to be an amazing one, now being a duel featuring Nancy,” said Habib.
