The Grand Bazaar NYC is one of the oldest markets in New York City, having been launched initially back in 1982 by a group of parents as a simple yard sale in order to raise funds for their children’s schools.
It has now grown into the largest weekly curated market in the city, open every Sunday all year round, indoors and outdoors, from 10am to 5.30pm. Grand Bazaar NYC also organizes some of the largest special themed events from: Made in NYC, Grand Vintage Bazaar, Sunday Brunch & Shop, Vegan Pop-up, NYC Food Truck Fest, Grand Holiday Bazaar, and others.
Yet its original mission remains, with it being the only market which donates 100% of its profits to four public schools. This enables over 2,000 children to benefit from funding for arts, enrichment programs, books, supplies, teaching assistants and more.
Visitors can browse and buy items from up to 200 of the best independent vintage and antique dealers, as well as the work of talented local emerging artists, designers, craft-makers and artisanal food entrepreneurs.
