Germany VS Portugal – Euro 2020 Review

Euro 2020 has seen an unforgettable fight of the tournament so far between Germany and Portugal on Saturday. Dipto Paul Reports.

Joachim Low’s Germany earned a 4-2 victory against Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal at the Allianz Arena in Munich.

Though Cristiano Ronaldo scored the first goal for Portugal at the 15 minutes of the game, their celebration did not last long because of two own goals from Ruben Dias and Raphael Guerreiro in the first half.

Kai Havertz and Robin Gosens from Germany made it 4-1 in the second half before Diogo Jota pulled one back for Portugal in the 67th minute.

Winning this high voltage game, the three-time European Championship winners gained their second position in the point table where Portugal holds the third.

On Wednesday, Germany will face off Hungary for the final match of the group stage where Portugal will face world champion France on the same day.

The top two in each group plus the four best third-placed teams go through the round of sixteen which will start from June 26.
