Gadgets & Games Galore at the Eurogamer Expo

EGX, the Eurogamer Expo is all set to take place on the 20-23 September at the NEC in Birmingham! The annual event brings a chance to play all the upcoming video games from those that have just hit shelves to previews and demos for projects launching later on in the year and even some from 2019.
So, what can be expected? For starters you can always expect huge booths from the big three, Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft. Each will have previews and demos of upcoming Triple-A titles, such as Fifa 19, Call of Duty Black Ops 4 as well as a myriad of console exclusives ready to show off, and new console developments, such as VR and other new interesting dynamics.
If you’re more of a fan of the Indie scene there’s definitely going to be something for you too! With over 175 games in the ‘Rezzed’ section, there’s always going to be something interesting to try, and often with a great chance to speak to the developers, programmers and artists who made the titles, something I always find incredibly interesting.
Events from these devs can often be found throughout the days too and are always worth looking into if you ever considered getting into a career in the industry, as well as streams, cosplay showcases and esports coverage.
Expect some more detailed coverage and first hand reviews afterwards, but tickets are still on sale! So if you’re a hardcore gamer, crazily competitive or just a fan of casually playing make sure you come along to check out those upcoming releases, and represent the hobby we all love so much with so many other people during this fun-filled weekend.
