Fracking Ban is lifted in England which receives backlash. Fracking Ban is now lifted in England as a charter for earthquakes which made Liz Truss face a backlash. The Activists slam the government because of the charter for the earthquakes. Liz Truss, the Prime Minister met resentment from all parts of the Parliament. Ed Miliband the shadow climate change secretary called on the Secretary of State Jacob Rees-Mogg. Its purpose of it which was to admit the truth.

The concerning truth is subjected to the ones who have the information about the subject. Fracking will cut bills is an opinion hard to believe. Miliband accused the Tories of the ban that is been lifted. It figures no shreds of evidence. Whether it was safe to remove the ban is the question that comes up-front. Rees-Mogg opines that fracking might make the country richer and is within the realm of national interest. He added by saying that the government is quite capable of realizing the potential source of domestic gas. The regulations include that the work should be stopped if tremors above 0.5 Richter scale are detected. Mr. Rees-Mogg wants to lift it as high as 2.5. He urged the MPs to believe that every year the seismic events are either 2.5 or lower. It should not be assumed that every seismic event can be turned out to be a San Francisco earthquake.

Different Opinions related to Fracking


Tory backbenchers are also of the opinion to lift the restriction which was framed in 2019 after a series of earth tremors took place. MP Greg Knight of East Yorkshire opines the forecast related to earthquakes involving fracking always remained a challenge for experts. He added we should not prioritize cash over the lives of the people. MP Mark Menzies says if Truss is a woman of her word then local consent over fracking should take place. Menzies responds to Rees-Mogg as the one representing Fylde there’s no adversary about people in Lancashire or Fylde.

Islington North MP Jeremy Corbyn opines that a mistake had been made by lifting the ban on fracking. He believes that much investment should be focused on sustainable and renewable resources of energy. The practice is damaging and dangerous upon the ban-lift. Green Party MP Caroline Lucas is amazed to believe that the secretary has more knowledge about UK’s geology. Chris Cornelius, the founder of the fracking firm Cuadrilla writes that fracking cannot work in Britain. Rees-Mogg says that the former chief executive resigned 10 years back and doesn’t represent the company.

Katie White: Opinion for Fracking


Katie White from the World Wildlife Fund said the announcement related to the fracking is a breach of promise. It has no scientific, economic and environmental base to stand on. Energy Union GMB has also criticized the Labour’s opinion on fracking. Rees-Mogg says that fracking has been funded by Putin’s regime for which he faced severe criticism.
