Foo Fighters are going to release their 10th studio album titled “Medicine at Midnight” and to celebrate the arrival the band is set to launch their own radio station. Puza Snigdha reports.
The album will be released on 5th February 2021.
The radio station will be broadcast on SiriusXM The programs. The show will air from 3 February at 12.00 (17.00 UK time) until 4 April. It will feature a special track-by-track premiere of ‘Medicine At Midnight’ at midnight ET. There will also be a live performance from the SiriusXM Garage at 5 pm ET, Dave Grohl Presents Sound City which released in 2012 will be featured as well.
Fans will be enjoying a series of recordings of live shows by the band from their 2018 gig in Manchester.
To give more details about Medicine At Midnight, the Foos will also take over a Pandora station, plus the Today’s Alternative and Today’s Hard Rock stations.
A small number of subscribers to SiriusXM will have the chance to be a part of the virtual audience for the release day show.
The channel will be available for two months after the release. Fans will be able to enjoy the band “sharing insight into their new album and the stories behind some of their biggest songs, demos, B-sides, and rarities throughout their more than two-decade career”.
The virtual show will be hosted by Kat Corbett.
