Father John Misty is back with another charity release on 3rd July, featuring Leonard Cohen, Cat Stevens and more! Puza Snigdha reports.
The event is titled as ‘Anthem +3’ will include covers of Leonard Cohen’s ‘Anthem’ and ‘One of Us Cannot Be Wrong’, as well as Link Wray’s ‘Fallin’ Rain’ and Yusuf / Cat Stevens’ ‘Trouble’ and more for charity.

The album, Cohen’s “Anthem” will get a wide release on other streaming services on 14th July with the help of Sub Pop. The album was recorded just a few weeks ago with producer Jonathan Wilson at his Fivestar Studios in Topanga, California.
All the proceeds from the effort will benefit CARE Action and Ground Game LA.
Father John Misty’s previous full-length was 2018’s God’s Favorite Customer. He also released a surprise album ‘Off-Key In Hamburg’ and all the proceeds from the album went to the MusiCares coronavirus relief fund.
