Fast and Furious Live | Arena Birmingham Review

Everyone has seen the Fast and Furious films, right? If not, have you been living under a rock for the past 17 years?!
Well, good news for all of the fans out there – you can now see the action LIVE. The show is jam-packed full of action and car stunts, recreating the best scenes from the franchise and the show even includes floating cars. Yup, you read that right, floating cars.

The show takes you on a journey to be a part of Toretto’s street racing gang, teaching you driving lessons along the way and involving the audience with colour coded cards – this particular feature was a big hit with the kids in the audience (and the big kids).

I was slightly dubious about this show, as I wondered how on earth they could create a 2 hour show with just cars. It was either going to be boring as hell or the best thing since sliced bread and I’m pretty pleased to announce, it was the latter. The actors and stunt men / women added the butter to that bread and watching them jump over cars, balance on top of trucks and cling on for dear life during the legendary safe stealing scene was a real treat for all. Oh, the fireworks were pretty cool too!

If you haven’t seen the show yet, what on earth are you waiting for? It’s a bit pricey but you come out feeling like a real bad ass.
