Emma

Author: Jane Austen

This is such a fun read which is probably what a lot of people will be looking for in the current situation. Emma Woodhouse has to be one of Jane Austen’s best female characters. The story follows her day to day as she tries to find husbands for her single friends, a day to day filled with a very colourful cast of supporting characters. Could ‘Emma’ possibly be the first ever rom-com? This is an incredibly enjoyable classic and one I will undoubtedly re-read many times.

Rating: 4/5
