Emily Eavis to Announce Broadcast Plans for Cancelled Glastonbury 2020 Weekend

Emily Eavis has recently said that she will be announcing broadcast plans next week for what would have been Glastonbury 2020 weekend. Tara Pilkington brings you the latest.

Glastonbury festival, which would have been celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, was unfortunately cancelled in March as a result of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Ticketholders for the event are already guaranteed a place at next years event, however many fans have been wondering if anything would be organised in its place this year.

Now, on 21 May, Emily announced via Instagram that she will be sharing broadcast plans this week for the weekend Glastonbury 2020 would have taken place on 24-28 June 24-28, saying that there will be some “unearthed gems from the festival’s vault.”
