Sports and music fans unite! The Dubai Duty Free Shergar Cup returns to Ascot Racecourse on Saturday 11 August and in celebration of this renowned tournament, there will be an evening concert held after the proceedings for racegoers to enjoy.
After the world’s premier international jockeys’ competition has commenced there will be a post-racing showcase of music with a stellar line-up (that includes the likes of Rita Ora, Example & DJ Wire, Soul II Soul and DJ Scott Mills).
Currently in its 18th year, the Dubai Duty Free Shergar Cup is one of Ascot’s most loved race gatherings. Each edition sees tens of thousands of individuals rock up to the site to support one of the four teams in the UK’s only team-format raceday.
When discussing her attendance, Rita Ora said: “I’m really looking forward to performing at Ascot Racecourse this summer. After a day of racing, I’m sure everyone will be ready for a good open-air party!”
As well as the racing and singing, guests can enjoy complimentary fairground rides on the Bandstand Lawns and indulge in champagne and cocktails whilst dining at their preferred restaurant.
