The singer Dolly Parton has confirmed on 22 March that Dolly Parton: A MusiCares Tribute will drop on Netflix on April 7.
Dolly Parton is the first ever singer who was honored with the MusiCares Person Of The Year award in 2019. She achieved the honour in a star-studded event in Los Angeles. Stars like Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Kacey Musgraves, Willie Nelson and Chris Stapleton performed her songs to pay her tribute.
“MusiCares brought together some incredible artists to celebrate my career in 2019. Soon you can watch that unforgettable night whenever you want!”, the singer captioned the post.
“I am so happy that Netflix is going to be showing the MusiCares tribute to me,” Parton said in a statement. “MusiCares has done so much for the people in this industry and continues to be a beacon of light for those in need.
Before this, last year the singer starred in a festive Netflix film called Dolly Parton’s Christmas On The Square, along with Christine Baranski and Treat Williams.
