The former football star, David Beckham, who played for Manchester United, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, has been reportedly charged for speeding at 59 mph in a 40 mph zone in Paddington on January 23. He has pleaded not guilty earlier this month. Beckham is set to appear in an administrative hearing on Tuesday at Lavender Hill Magistrates’ Court in Battersea, south-west London, but he will appear in court again on September 4.
Beckham has been in the public eye for quite some time since he made his name in the 90s as a midfielder at Manchester United. He has been a celebrity endorser in campaigns for H&M. Moreover, he and his wife, former Spice Girl, Victoria Beckham, have been special guests at the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, mentioning that the royal family were “very easy to get along with”.
