Cosy Club Christmas Menu – Review

For our annual Christmas Party, we went to the Cosy Club in Birmingham where we enjoyed a 3 course meal and lots and lots of drinks!
STARTER – Sharing Platter
With so many of us, we all shared several sharing platters between us. These had little bitesize samples of all of the starters – baked camembert with bread, slow-cooked pork belly bites, pate and pigs in blankets. It was lovely to be able to try a variety of the foods on offer, however everyone seemed to run out of food a bit quickly!
MAIN – Norfolk Turkey & Smoked Bacon Pie
This was a popular choice with many of our staff. The dish came accompanied with creamy mash, pigs in blankets and seasonal veg, all dressed in a sage and chestnut butter and gravy. The pie was piping hot in the middle and carried a lot of flavour, especially when eaten with the gravy.
DESSERT – Chocolate & Orange Torte
This dessert certainly satisfied those with a sweet tooth. The chocolate and orange both complimented each other beautifully and was gorgeously rich in flavour. It came with a raspberry sauce which gave it a wonderfully sweet tang.
COCKTAIL – English Rose
This was a personal favourite out of all the cocktails – a delicate yet fruity choice. With gin, lemon and rosewater, each ingredient balanced out the cocktail superbly. A must for anyone visiting the Cosy Club this Christmas.
Thank you to the Cosy Club for hosting our WhatsOn Christmas Party!
