Congress confirms Joe Biden’s Victory

Joe Biden won the US presidential election back in November 2020. The US Congress has finally confirmed his victory amidst riots and invasion of Capitol Hill that left four Trump supporters dead.

Donald Trump tried his level best to fuel a fascist group for weeks making unsubstantiated claims about electoral frauds.

Previously he sent a message: “Even though I totally disagree with the outcome of the election and the facts bear me out, nevertheless there will be an orderly transition on January 20”.

This post was made through his director after Twitter blocked his account for inciting violence.  Social Media giant Facebook has also blocked his account on the grounds of using the platform to promote insurrections against the election.

After numeral failed attempts, he finally conceded and in a statement said that there will be “an orderly transition” of power”.

However, Trump ended his speech on a defiant tone, warning that, “While this represents the end of the greatest first term in presidential history, it’s only the beginning of our fight to make America great again!”

Joe Biden will be taking the oath to be the next president of the United States on 20 January. The world watched in silence as the United States once again plunged into what can be described as nothing but the fragility of American democracy.
