Over 1.4 million young in over 300 cities took part in the March 15 #climatestrike – the biggest day of global climate action ever. From Australia and New Zealand to Asia, Europe, Africa, North America and South America, students from all over the world took to the streets to demand change. Organizers said there were more than 2,000 protests in 125 countries. As a response to the climate strike, people posted their admirations on Social media.
Hilary Clinton appreciated the strike and tweet “Three amazing young women—Isra Hirsi, age 16; Haven Coleman, age 12; and Alexandria Villaseño, age 13—have organized youth climate strikes around the country tomorrow. Their demand: a livable future for their generation. Find a strike and spread the word”.

Alexandria Villaseño tweet the day before the strike, “tells our stories of why we #ClimateStrike tomorrow! We don’t have time to wait until we’re grownups, we must act NOW!”

Bernie Sanders “We must build an international movement to take on the fossil fuel industry and leave a planet that is healthy and habitable for future generations. Today the young people of the #YouthClimateStrike are leading the way. Thank you for your courage.”
Students from Nelson College in Nelson, New Zealand, performed a Haka dance during a massive climate change protest. “The students behind them are from Nelson College for Girls, Nayland College, Waimea College, Broadgreen Intermediate and more,” freelance journalist Naomi Arnold said.
From Prague, Lisbon, Warsaw attracted huge crowds of strikers in favour of climate strike showed in the pictures shared by the European Green Party.

Inspired by Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg, environmentally conscious students are calling for the government to take action on global warming. Now it is time to see how this worldwide climate strike lead by school students put how much pressure towards the responsible adult citizens as well as authority to fight against climate change.
