Stars from the worlds of TV, film and radio came together last week for a special 10th anniversary screening of ‘The Be All and End All’ at the FACT Picturehouse in Liverpool.
Some of the original cast and crew of the British feature and a whole host of other celebrities – including Benidorm’s Josh Bolt,Line of Duty’s Leanne Best and Hollyoaks’ Lauren McQueen- gathered at the event organised by Clapperboard with the help of Verve Pictures and director Bruce Webb.
The event opened up with a Q+A where people could ask questions about the film to director Bruce Webb and actor Josh Bolt.
Clapperhouse also took the opportunity to present their latest project, Mind OurMate! – a short film youth project. Their newest short film aims to raise awareness of the issue of Mate Crime, a phenomenon by which a vulnerable person is subjected to ‘false friends’ online or in real life.
The short also explores themes such as identity, community, global media and social networks and highlights the availability of mental health support for people who might need it.
“It was a privilege to Host the 10th Anniversary of The Be All and End All as a fundraiser for ClapperboardUK,” said Clapperboard Director Maureen Sinclair.
“The film hasn’t dated at all and it was a pleasure to listen to Josh Bolt and Leanne Best talk about their exciting successful career paths since their first feature film debut. It was a great turnout and guests continued to celebrate afterwards at Frederiks.”
