China Decline The Request of U.S. Navy Ship to Dock in Hong Kong Port

In case of trade conflict between Beijing and Washington, China refused U.S navy ship to dock in Hong Kong port mentioned Chinese metropolis on Tuesday.
The incident came amid rising tentions between Beijing and Washington over tariffs and follows the U.S. last week imposing sanctions on China after it bought arms from Russia.
A consulate spokeswoman said. “The Chinese Government did not approve a request for a U.S. port visit to Hong Kong by the USS Wasp. We have a long track record of successful port visits to Hong Kong, and we expect that to continue”.
A diplomatic sources said, The amphibious assault ship Wasp had been rejected to make a port call in the former British colony of Hong Kong in October.
As well as longstanding facts like the South China Sea, the Korean Peninsula, and Taiwan, The rejection of the ship’s port call request comes as the US and China quarrel over trade and sanctions.
It is not uncommon for China to deny US port call requests when it is displeased with the countries’ relations . The decision will impact hundreds of service members who’ve been at sea since August on the Wasp, which can hold up to 1,600 people.
China and U.S. are involving in an increasingly bitter trade war.
