Burning Continues at Day Three: Auckland Fire

The terrible fire in Auckland at the New Zealand International Convention Center has been burning since Tuesday afternoon which enters day three.
Hundreds of firefighters have been working in shifts to put out the blaze on the roof of the SkyCity convention, with reinforcements referred to as in from cities as some distance away as Hamilton.
The fire was reported on Wednesday morning by the residents which broke out at 1.10 pm.
“When I got home last night there was this really strong smell inside my place, like burning plastic, from the fire,” said Michelle Wilson, a 23-year-old shop assistant.
“A bit queasy inside the apartment and I was couch-surfing” saying this German backpacker Lisa Fischer decided to leave the city on Wednesday.
The basement of the conference center has been flooded, with probably 400 automobiles underwater, in line with a leaked symbol despatched to New Zealand Bring in.

A time-lapse video of the past two days shows the extent of the damage in just 40 seconds. The footage was posted to Twitter, stating it was filmed from 1.50 pm on Tuesday until 9.50 am on Thursday.
Fire and Emergency New Zealand sent an emergency mobile alert to all residents in the vicinity of the fire shortly before 7 pm on Tuesday.
It advised people to stay away from the smoke, stay indoors and keep windows closed.
