What > February denotes the start of Spring, a happy season for Bangladesh. Basically its a gathering to celebrate the month by musical concerts, wearing traditional dresses. People gathers infront of the banyan tree. The banyan tree remains before the Faculty of Arts, at the University of Dhaka symbolizes the collusion between the general population of America and Bangladesh as a living tribute to opportunity.
The long stretch of February is noteworthy for the EMK Center since it honors the replanting of the Banyan Tree by Senator Edward M. Kennedy on February 14, 1972, which was dynamited by the foe armed force in the underlying period of the Independence War 1971.
