The bodies of a 32-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman have been found in a Staffordshire home, police have reported.
Officers arrived at the scene at Henhurst Hill in Burton-upon-Trent, at 11pm on Wednesday. Authorities have reported that there was also a two year old child found inside the house “unharmed”.
The child is now being cared for by relatives.
Officers have said that the deaths are being treated as unexplained and no forms of identification or post-mortem have taken place yet, but will do in due course.

Emergency services raced to the scene and a cordon has been in place overnight. A resident who lives close by said "I saw lots of blue flashing lights at about 11.30pm, there were all the emergency services, I wasn't sure what had happened as the fire service were there, I thought it was a house fire. I then saw a toddler being taken away, it looked to be fine though, no obvious injuries." Staffordshire Police forensics officers were seen entering the property on Thursday morning as a cordon was still in place at the house on the outskirts of Burton Upon Trent. A Staffordshire Police Spokeswoman said "At 23:05 hours on Wednesday 4th Sept all 3 emergency services attended a domestic house in Henhurst Hill, Burton upon Trent following a report of 2 persons having been found unresponsive inside the property. Due to information provided at the time of the first report an assessment of the location was carried out by members of the Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service to ensure the property was safe to enter by the other emergency services. It was quickly established that there was no risk to the public or emergency service staff. Following the discovery of a deceased male and female in the property Staffordshire Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the deaths. A two-year-old child was also found in the property safe and well and is currently being cared for by relatives, specially trained officers will be supporting the relatives of the two deceased
