On Sunday, Jacob Blake was shot behind seven times by the police officers in Kenosha in front of his children. The 29-year-old American Black man was accused of domestic disputes and in a fail attempt to arrest him; the officers in charge shot fires at him.
This has followed extreme protests from BLM supporters who demand the end of police brutality and systematic racism in America once and for all. For the last three days, the city has been blazed.
Last night a crowd of protestors was calling out their demands in the streets of Kenosha when a gunman opened fire killing two people and severely injuring one.
Authorities have reported a vigilante group patrolling the Kenosha streets in the preceding nights after Jacob Blake’s shooting. Videos collected from cell phones revealed a white man with a semi-automatic rifle firing on the protestors. Local policemen are searching for the man and hope to capture him soon.
The unrest since Sunday has resulted in 34 fire cases and the destruction of 30 properties in Kenosha, Wisconsin city. The civil unrest seems to have been fueled after the incidents from last night.
